Environmental Scientist
The Opportunity
Kleinfelder Australia is a leading environmental consultancy delivering smart, practical solutions across infrastructure, resources, and community projects. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our Townsville team and contribute to high-quality environmental management, assessment, and compliance outcomes.
About the role:
In this role, you will:
Based in Townsville, this role offers the flexibility of local autonomy while being fully supported by our friendly Brisbane team, with several colleagues already engaged in remote arrangements.
This is a full-time position; however, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
About You
You will bring:
A degree in Environmental or a related field.
3-5 years’ experience in environmental consulting, assessment and/or compliance monitoring. Preference for candidates with infrastructure experience.
Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
Practical fieldwork experience and a solid understanding of legislative frameworks.
High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
Additional desirable qualifications include a current driver’s licence, White Card, and First Aid Certificate.
