Your technical background may be in Planning and Approvals, Contaminated Land, Geotechnical, Ecology or a related discipline; however, your strength lies in leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering business performance. Additional experience gained in senior client-side or contracting roles desirable.

You will bring:

  • Astute commercial acumen and experience managing P&L performance
  • A growth mindset with demonstrated success in winning work and expanding client relationships
  • A strong understanding of environmental opportunities afforded by relevant NSW industry sectors and a track record of successful client management in the state.
  • The ability to attract, lead, influence and inspire diverse technical teams across multi-office operations
  • An approachable nature and collaborative leadership style and the capacity to operate effectively at the executive level

You are confident and credible in the market, with an established professional network across key markets including government, infrastructure, transport, renewables, oil & gas, resources, and private sector clients. You thrive on building high-performing teams, fostering a positive and accountable culture, and creating clear career pathways for your people.

The Role and Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall performance of the NSW business, including:

  • Development and delivery of the annual business plan and budget
  • P&L management and financial performance oversight
  • Market strategy and growth execution
  • Client engagement and key account development
  • Leadership of Team Leaders and collaboration with HR, HSEQ, Marketing and Finance
